Another week has passed in Southern California and I find myself with familiar feelings on a Friday.
Perhaps my goals are lofty or hopes are high since facing death's door as a family. I would rather find something fulfilling in life than spend it in futility. Fun times are great, of course; but they are not enough. That is what I call living in “lack”…
The kids spent time at the Manhattan Beach Open today, watching well known Rumble player Mark Burik take the court; Dalhauser and Rosie close up and Kerri Walsh and April Ross play. It is crazy; they are athletes, with dreams, who pushed themselves to a higher level of play. Hope remains in our hearts.......
I find VB on the weekend brings me a sense of fulfillment right now, as simple as it sounds. We have a deep connection to the sport and it's one of the only things that fills my soul here..... it fills me for the coming week. By Friday, I am depleted.
Austin took John, Logan and me to Joe's Crab Shack for our first time with his 50% off discount; the only way to go. He fits in very nicely there and is so "sweet" according to the servers:) The guys loved the seafood; I got a burger lol.
Heading to Santa Monica for a CBVA tournament Saturday. Not only will Logan be playing, but I get to watch Chynna take to the sand with her partner:) I look forward to a filling day.....
We keep digging.... new wells.
