I have learned there are just some things in life you cannot put a price on, like working together and "togetherness." Even though our current living conditions might say otherwise, I firmly believe in personal space and aiding my kids in living their own lives.........
Our culture in the east places a very high value on family, whether vacations, picnics, or everyday gatherings. In other parts of the country, that loyalty factor is limited. I believe in balance smile emoticon I know I need my kids like I never imagined; however, I am all for setting each one free........
Logan debuted his coaching ability tonight at the Brandywine Heights Powder Puff game. It sounded like quite an exciting game, with some surprising "entertainment." Glad to hear the stands were packed as the community came together for a fun event. Saturday is Homecoming, and he will be in the Court smile emoticon I am planning to take plenty of pics!
We rarely share a meal together anymore, as schedules are hectic, each of us are living our lives under one roof. Special times need to be planned now. But, I see so much value in letting the kids spread their wings like we did in California. There were so many benefits...... I let go, even though I could have held on and held each back. #blessings
With unity and togetherness, we get things done. That does not mean we all need to think the same or live our lives as "one" unit however; it says that I value the opinions of others, and respect where each comes from. I think this type of attitude can go along way in working things out in life.....
Psalms 133 says the Lord commands a blessing where there is unity...... so that kind of tells me the opposite happens where there is divisiveness. God knows I have seen enough of that. In order for there to be that kind of cooperation, there has to be a cultivation of kindness........
Stepping into a season of blessing has been almost mind blowing....... and I anticipate this to be just the beginning.
Sharing the blessings. #Fall #Freedom #Fortunes
