Seeing potential in a person, people group, community or nation can be a risky venture; most cannot see what I see..... and many are unwilling to take the leap of faith required to get results. It is easier to join the naysayers.......

We even go so far as to recreate history in our minds to fit our current mentalities and glorify our "past lives" to deal with our present situations. Where does this get us? Repeating patterns, living in destructive cycles, and never finding any systemic growth.

Anyone who knows me knows that: 1. I am all about growth. 2. I AM a risk taker........

This type of thinking led me to do what I have done as a wife, mother, mentor, widow, business woman, and beyond. I knew I did not want to be 40+ and struggle with the same issues I did in my 20s or 30s. God willing, I am not. ‪#‎progressiverevelation‬

Pieces of truth in life are revealed by the Spirit of God to fit into the seasons set forth in life. I know now what I did not know then because I was not ready or able to deal with it. My faith level is higher; my trust is greater. My obedience..... tested by fire.

When others cannot see the potential you see, in a person, place, or possibility, it is often because the perspective is skewed; bias is present. I can see potential, but I cannot fall in love because of it alone. There must be growth. Steps must progress.....

As these last 9 months have brought a challenging, refining fire to my life, I have again discovered who I am; what I need and want in life. These are a few reasons why I believe in purpose from pain; the dynamic from devastation.
