After feeling racked by pain, suffering, assaults on every side, and anything that leaves you being broken, there is a time to recover....... and rebuild.
Recovery can last a lifetime, and for some depending on the level of "loss" experienced, more time may be required. However, each step taken should lead you one step closer to your dreams and destiny. Your purpose from the pains.... finding out the why and figuring out what it all means is one of the most challenging elements in making sense of the process.
Without the Spirit of God to guide me through, the Word and daily, fresh word of God to speak, recovery, rebuilding, and restoration would never occur...... I would be too tired.
As you get to know me, my family, and our very personal story in the writings of my blog, you will find me to be a very real and relevant voice in a "nation" that needs hope. I speak out of my experiences of birth, loss, death, and an enemy out to destroy me. BUT after and through it all, I continue to speak LIFE....... over the last five years, and 20 years......
I toyed with the idea of "faith" many years ago until I needed real answers not religious cliches to the issues that I was facing. A soul emptied out; a spirit depleted. a very unsatisfied heart..... that went on a search for the REAL thing..... Desperation met Desire and Determination.
And guess what? I found it........ and I continue on the quest to a higher existence, "full of glory", knowing from day to day He is changing me.
I have found that human nature resists change, and therefore, something supernatural or very surreal occurs in order to get me to "move." One way or another, I am not going to remain the same.... the call is too great..... and so is yours......Can you hear .......
Nehemiah, in the Book of the Bible after his own name, set out on a task after being called by God. His was one of work - rebuilding walls that had been assaulted; broken down on every side; infiltrated and attacked. BUT, he heard this undeniable call: this was the time for restoration. Yes, there was much resistance, but there was also GREAT SUPPORT. This work needed to be done; the workers were unified. They were up to the task.
These united people of the nation looked out for each other, taking up a weapon in one hand and a tool in the other to build with. This was the position and stance required to proceed with the restoration of the soul of their nation. I have found that sometimes, I need to do the same thing.......... the weapon may be the Word, promise, or dream, but I wield it with force.....
I do not give up. You cannot either.
