The great King David, a poetic and personal hero of ancient days, wrote the most powerful Psalms prior to his ascend to kingship; words pouring from the depths of his soul, containing praise and pain........ He was a real man who knew the battle life can bring and was not afraid to express himself.
At a young age, he waged his first "war", facing a literal Giant no one else was able to handle; everyone was shaking and fearful to make a move. He took up his position. His bravery and depth of course, challenged me to realize the power he found from the pain and torment his soul persevered through........
In one particular verse he shares, "Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, "Where is this God of yours?" I don't know about you, but I can speak these words as if they come from my heart...... because this is my story.
When it seems as if you are under continual assault, you can't get out of your current situation, or are unable to overcome the loss and pain in your life........ You must make a move. You must step up. This is a key to moving forward in your pain, to find its purpose and to take down your "Giant."
In order to do so, there must be motion.... movement. A rising up... a going to a higher place. I am speaking spiritually now; while you need to literally get yourself in motion, putting one foot in front of the other, there has to be spiritual motion working in conjunction with your action......
In the Book of Revelation, Chapter 4, the Word says "After this I looked, and BEFORE me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here and I will show you....." ACTION. This verse is filled with MOTION. MOVEMENT. ACTIVITY.
Looking. Listening. Expecting. Anticipating. Revelation.
BE THERE. Join me. Face your Giant.
